Could iPhone Surpass The PSP And DS In Mobile Gaming?
March 26th, 2008Business Week have compiled a comparison chart highlighting the contrasting differences between the Apple iPhone and leading mobile gaming handhelds, the Sony PSP and Nintendo DS.
It’s clear from the start how much potential the iPhone has when compared to the leading handheld the Sony PSP. with over double the processing power of the PSP, the iPhone already has the user base and software groundwork it needs to really gain a foothold in the mobile gaming industry.
With the iPhone SDK it’s clear that Apple are certainly doing their best to encourage gaming development on the iPhone, with the sheer amount of time devoted to gaming at the recent iPhone SDK launch event being a testament to that.
