More proof that AT&T sucks!
November 30th, 2007Just in case you were in doubt that there was a reason that AT&T’s symbol had an unsettling resemblance to the death star, they have once again proven that, well for lack of a better, that they suck! From what I have gathered from this article, and many more like it A store in Colorado was offering deaf customers data only plans. This makes sense given that deaf people have absolutely no need for voice plans given that they can’t hear! But I guess that was just too nice for AT&T and they forced their carriers to no longer sell data only plans.
I can’t believe this, I mean christ in heaven AT&T what the heck is wrong with you!!!!! So what if people who can’t hear are not signing up for your voice plan, it doesn’t do them any good. But no you have to be a bunch of hacks who want to screw people for no good reason. This isn’t just about deaf people either, its about all of us and our right to choose what we want and what we don’t want. Also Apple if you are listening you should really do something about this because honestly I am not sure how big a fan I will remain of you if you don’t.
Now of course when I called AT&T to complain they stated politely that they are working out a plan for deaf individuals. Well I will keep my nose on this one and let you know the moment I find out if they actually do this. But honestly I am not to optimistic.

AT&T has failed to make a full accounting of billings to my account. They have not fixed the problem they have as well as overcharges to my account.
So much for their reliable customer service!
