Next Gen iPhone?

So it appears some dude named Ben Reitzes of UBS is claiming that the next gen iPhone will be dropping sometime in early 2008, there are even some pictures of it available.
If so I wonder how it will be different? How will it be the same?
From the pics available it looks like it may be a bit sleeker in design, and given the trend towards shrinking everything it will most likely be smaller. However my question is do we really need a next gen iPhone already? I mean heck I think the ones they got out right now are pretty good and don’t need a whole lot of changing.
Well whatever the case I will certainly be keeping an eye out for further developments and keep you all posted on em. For now here is a pic to get your appetites a little wet.
