Put your iPhone in disk mode

November 16th, 2007

One common complaint of the iPhone (among many) is that there is no way to use it as an external disk. Almost all iPods have the feature to be used in disk mode, but for some reason it is missing from the iPhone.

This can also be useful for getting songs from your iPhone if you lost your music library on your computer.

That’s where the Mac-only application iPhoneDrive comes in. It enables just that- you can use your iPhone as an external drive. You can try iPhoneDrive out as a demo before purchasing if desired.

If you want to use your iPhone as a small backup drive- iPhoneDrive is the way to go.
