Simple custom ringtones
November 15th, 2007I recently brought up the fact you can make custom ringtones again. Back when Apple first enabled it, a handy app called MakeiPhoneRingtone was created.
Rogue Amoeba just updated this application to work with this new feature, and you can download it here.
The company also offers an audio-editing program, perfect for making ringtones called Fission.
Give MakeiPhoneRingtone a try if you want to make ringtones in a snap.

I tried to find way to find ringtones via iTune bt for us Brits there is no luck. There are endless guides on net that says convert file extension from aac to m4r. With this I can see them in iTunes ringtones playlist n when I sync I can see them even in ringtones playlist of iPhone bt I can’t find them in actual iPhone ringtones menu. In last one week I have wasted lots of time to make this work but now I might have to join this third party’s cat n mouse game.
so with this app I can transfer tones but with some thing this expensive I feel using 3rd party app bit risky. Can someone plz tell me if they have tried it n how it works. For the first time I’m mad with apple ppl for making all this complicated.
Thanks for the link.

Well, I’ve done it and I get the exact same thing with no luck. I see the files been updated in the phone, but they wont show.
