Six fun to use “hidden” iPhone applications

November 28th, 2007

If you havn’t been over to TUAW lately, I would suggest you check out this latest offering. One of their writers went through and after playing around a bit has listed his six favorite hidden iPhone Apps. The following is what he listed.

1. Set a Fake Time: Not sure how useful this would be, but still it could be fun to mess around with a bit.

2. Set a Fake Carrier: Again not sure what this does for me, but something that looks like it could have some fun.

3. Hide certain Apps for your keynote: Wow, other than you could mess with a friend and make them think their phone is acting up and making it tough for people to use yours.. Well I guess that would be a lot of fun.

4. Use a different dock: If you like being able to change your dock this is actually a pretty hand little app.

5 and 6. See Numeric signal strength values: This is purely cosmetic, but I actually kind of dig this one. Also a neat way to show your leet iPhone hacking skilzzz.

While the above is a quick rundown, you should really go over and check out the whole article for yourself.
