Some iPhone Users Reporting Bubble-like Screen Distortions

Several users on the Official Apple discussion boards are reporting bubble-like screen distortions appearing underneath their iPhone screens.
“I have 5 bubbles thus far and more as showing up as the days go on”
“I just found one one my phone, its in the upper right hand corner under the battery icon.“
“I have the same issue and I’m going to be taking my phone in tomorrow (Saturday, January 19, 2008) to see if I can get it fixed.
The good news is users who are experiencing these problems are getting their iPhone’s promptly replaced by Apple.
