Spotlight search on the iPhone?

I came across an interesting article at AppleInsider. It claims that the iPhone will have the Spotlight feature (easy to access search found in Apple’s Mac OS) in an upcoming firmware update in early 2008.

I think that’d be a nice feature to have. Easily find contacts, music, emails, etc. I would definitely use this if it does come out.

I’m looking forward to this (supposed) feature that will be coming soon.
