T-Mobile selling unlocked iPhones
November 21st, 2007The battle over the exclusiveness of the iPhone. In response to the court injunction in Germany against selling the iPhone started by Vodafone, T-Mobile has now started selling unlocked iPhones for $1500.
While I am sure these won’t go flying off the phones, I wonder if there might be something worth thinking on here. If indeed people believe and unlocked iPhone is worth $1500 bucks in Europe, will that cost carry over here into the states? I seriously doubt it given the fact jailbreaks and unlocks are about a dime a dozen on the internet.
Whatever the case this is a very interesting turn in the battle over the iPhone in Europe.
