The all in one iPhone by CLIQK

CLIQK a New York based lifestyle firm has announced that its VIP’s can now use their iPhones to access their homes security, lighting, temperature and more while away from home.

They are able to offer this service through specially modified iPhones that have unique applications and specialized menus. In its press release found here, CLIQK states that “there are numerous reasons, both practical and fun, for giving clients remote access to their home automation systems”.

Of course no where on their site do they list how much this service costs, but I am sure it is more than I can afford. While I am all for using your money however you want, I really got to wonder how safe it is to have this information on something like the iPhone. Imagine if you lost the phone without being aware you had, or if your iPhone was hacked into by someone without scruples, would this service seem so beneficial then?

In the end though it is really up to those who can afford this to make that decision.
