Want to save text message chats? Use Syphone
November 3rd, 2007Syphone is a Mac application, currently in beta, that archives every text message received and sent. This task is accomplished by extracting all of the information from iPhone backups made in iTunes.
This is great for people who would like to know that clearing the chat from their iPhone doesn’t mean they’re gone forever. Or, it could be used just go back and see what you said that one time.
Syphone sports an easy-to-use interface, and it looks just the way it is on your iPhone. It displays your contacts on the left, and the iChat-like conversation on the left.
Overall, Syphone would be the best way to go if you want to efficiently and easily store old text messages.
