Where’s the optimized Google search?

November 8th, 2007

Brandon Eley at The Apple Blog pointed this out, and I previously noticed myself. Apple and Google have a kind relationship going, with the Google Maps widget and the integrated search bar in Mobile Safari. But why aren’t Google’s search results brought up in a nice, iPhone-friendly fashion?

Navigating these pages isn’t too much of a hassle, but I would like to see a nice flow from searching to results.  It should be in that uniform scroll list we’ve all come to love.

So, Google: get on making these search results pages look nice! Show how much you love us iPhone users.
